Lieutenant Governor Salma Lakhani will welcome the public to the grounds of Government House in Edmonton for a special garden party in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s 70 years of service.

This party is an opportunity for people to come together and celebrate the very special place that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II holds in our history and her remarkable service through the decades.” Her Honour, the Honourable Salma Lakhani
The Platinum Jubilee Garden Party takes place on Saturday, June 4 at Government House, located at 12845 – 102 Avenue, Edmonton. The grounds open at 1:30 PM and the program runs from 2 PM to 4 PM. The event is open to the public and tickets/ reservations are not required.
The program will include special performances by the Royal Canadian Artillery Band, the Jivin’ Belles and Indigenous dancers. Guests will also have opportunities to meet Lieutenant Governor Lakhani and His Honour Zaheer Lakhani, and to enjoy cake, cookies and lemonade.
Limited free parking is available at Government House however taking public transit is encouraged.
