Today, on the 1 year anniversary of King Charles III's coronation, I was part of the inaugural presentation of the King Charles III Coronation Medal and received this honour from the Governor General. This medal represents a new chapter for Canadians and members of the Commonwealth around the world, and affirms the history and traditions that lie at the very heart of our Canadian identity.

I am touched to be able to serve as His Majesty the King’s representative in Alberta, and I trust that we will continue to see the same commitment and thoughtful intentionality from His Majesty as we have in the first year of his reign.

At this time, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta is not taking nominations for the Coronation Medal. Please see the Governor General of Canada's website here for more information.
