To invite the Lieutenant Governor to attend your event, please send a detailed letter on your organization's letterhead. Invitations should ideally be sent three months prior to the date of the event, however all invitations received are considered.
Your letter should include:
- Organization background and contacts
- Event details, including date, time, location, and purpose of the event
- The number of people expected to participate and the group's make up (ie. volunteers, school children, business community, general public)
- The role you would like the Lieutenant Governor to play: visit, deliver speech, present award, attend performance, etc.
