To invite the Lieutenant Governor to attend your event, please send a detailed letter on your organization's letterhead. Invitations should ideally be sent three months prior to the date of the event, however all invitations received are considered.

Telephone invitations cannot be accepted.

Your letter should include:

  • Organization background and contacts;
  • Event details, including date, time, location, and purpose of the event;
  • The number of people expected to participate and the group's make up (ex: volunteers, school children, business community, general public);
  • The role you would like the Lieutenant Governor to play: visit, deliver speech, present award, attend performance, etc.
